Lucy Ferreira is Luso - Venezuelan, an architect by profession and a Master in Urban Design from Harvard University. In 2007 she was a bride of destiny, she made her wedding in the patrimonial state of Oaxaca in Mexico, where her love for this state and for the organization of events was born.
From that first contact, she began a beautiful working relationship with Oaxaca, gaining experience as a Wedding Planner in the last 10 years. Lucy Ferreira Wedding planner has been a fundamental part in the growth of destination weddings in that state, boosting tourism and exposing the Oaxaca culture to the world. In this way, Oaxaca has become a world reference for destination weddings, generating value to the state and giving new opportunities to local and external employment.
Lucy is certified as a Wedding Planner by the Florida Events Academy, has an International Diploma as Event and Wedding Planner granted by Anahuac University in Mexico and endorsed by the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Academy. His experience is also endorsed by the University of Florida (UNAD) and has various certifications and training that develops in each culminated event.
Thanks to the passion and dedication she has for the industry, to the commercial alliances established with national and international wedding planners and above all to the love and professionalism that puts every detail of the weddings she organizes, Lucy was appointed Executive Director of the International Wedding and Event Industry Association (IWEA). From there, he leads fellow planners in more than 15 countries, transmitting work ethics and values, under the respect that this profession of planning destination weddings deserves.
